Staff Accountant-Up to $90k Annually!

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with a strong GAAP knowledge and a manufacturing background to join our team as a Staff Accountant. If you have advanced skills in Microsoft Office, experience with Syspro ERP, and a solid understanding of SQL, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• General Ledger:Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment management, and collections.
• Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Analyze and allocate manufacturing costs, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold.
• Advanced MS Skills:Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting, and data manipulation.
• ERP Systems:Work with Syspro ERP to manage financial transactions, reports, and data. Experience with Syspro is a plus. SQL:Use SQL for data querying and reporting to support financial analysis and decision-making.
• Hybrid potential one day a week.

Requirements:

Experience:Previous experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with Syspro ERP is a plus; SQL knowledge is required.

Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
