Title: Senior Accountant
Pay: $33-45/hour, based on experience
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Employment Type: Contract Position (until the end of the year)
Reports to: Controller
Location: Pomona - fully onsite
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis until the end of the year. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-cycle accounting, month-end close processes, and financial statement preparation. This position reports directly to the Controller and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-cycle accounting
Month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and credit cards
Assist with management reporting
Assist with system implementation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite (preferred)
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and CONCATENATE
Proven experience in full-cycle accounting
Solid understanding of month-end close processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
