We are in search of an Employee Relations Specialist to join our remote team. This role is a chance to be part of an industry that focuses on behavioral health. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be managing and resolving employee complaints, supporting termination processes, and handling sensitive and confidential information. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and document employee complaints in an appropriate manner
• Provide support during termination processes
• Assist in the creation and implementation of improvement plans
• Manage and manipulate Excel spreadsheets containing employee data
• Coach and counsel employees when needed
• Follow up on employee concerns promptly and effectively
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Enter data into HRIS databases, specifically Workday
• Ensure policies and procedures are interpreted accurately, consistently administered, and aligned with organizational goals, while also in compliance with professional standards, state, and federal regulations
• Support change management initiatives and facilitate conversations that encourage transformation while minimizing negative reactions and potential impacts
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management, verbally and in written form
• Serve as the first point of contact for the "people & performance" team.
