Established engineering consulting company is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. Ideal candidate will have oil and gas experience and be proficient in monthly accounting close and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities include:
•Timely semi-monthly invoicing of work activity to multiple clients
•Attention to detail on all reporting including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
•Coordinates and assists in the timely completion of monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP
•Oversee the timely payment/reporting of severance tax, state/federal royalty regulatory requirements
••Maintain the general ledger, coordinate daily accounting activities, perform analysis and reporting

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting
•3+ years of oil and gas accounting experience
•Working knowledge of drilling, completion, and production activities
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and oil and gas ERP systems
•QuickBooks experience preferred

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations and Journal Entries is essential.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary.

• Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is desirable.

• Experience with OGsys software is highly beneficial.
