A software company in Downtown Santa Barbara, CA is looking for an AP Supervisor to join their team! The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of Accounts Payable and will have prior experience supervising teams.

Pay: $75K-$95K/yr + Benefits
Location: Downtown Santa Barbara, CA

Job Duties:
-Manage the daily operation of the accounts payable and purchasing department
-Supervise, train, and evaluate the work of three accounts payable specialists
-Administrate and troubleshoot Sage 500 ERP’s AP and PO modules, Sage Fixed Asset, and Concur Expense Pro
-Set up account information, payment method, and payment terms for each vendor
-Review and interpret contracts, agreements, quotations, and other documents
-Perform end of month activities: review and reconcile account balances, review and prepare journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and other related tasks
-Perform end of year activities: 1099 reporting, vendor maintenance, opened purchase orders, T&E changes, and other related tasks
-Participate in financial statements and sales tax audits as well as certification audits

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
-Accounts payable or accounting experience
-Supervisor experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Teams
