Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a AP Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate payment terms and manage vendor contracts.
- Prepare and review AP reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to accounts payable.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Procurement and Finance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist and Prepare Quarterly and Yearly Reporting assigned by due date.
Qualifications/Experience:- Associate degree in business or a related field.
- 7 years of accounts payable experience in full cycle accounts payable processing preferred.
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience..
- Experience with general ledger account reconciliations, month-end closing processes and knowledge of accounting principles preferred.
- Proficient MS Office Suite (Excel), 10 key and alpha/numeric data entry and accounting software's.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and techniques, internal controls, and disbursement experience.
