We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in Flint, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for various human resources tasks, including managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing benefit functions. This role is critical in supporting our operations and contributing to our team's success.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and ATS (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) for efficient processing and management of employee information
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing our industry
• Handle FMLA administration and other benefit functions to provide comprehensive support to all employees
• Use Ceridian and Dayforce for efficient processing and management of HR-related tasks
• Implement and manage effective communication strategies to ensure transparent and consistent communication with all employees
• Resolve employee inquiries promptly and professionally, acting as a reliable point of contact for all employees
• Use ADP - Financial Services for financial reporting and analysis related to HR functions
• Develop and implement effective strategies for attracting and retaining talent
• Oversee the application and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, updating as necessary to remain current with industry standards and regulations.• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now software
• Familiar with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce HR software
• Understanding of Benefit Functions within a corporate setting
• Excellent Communication skills in both written and verbal form
• Knowledgeable in Compliance matters related to HR practices
• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations effectively
• Experience with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
