Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting, responsibilities include:

• Reconciling loan balances & activity, accounts receivable balances, and other related balance sheet accounts
• Preparing journal entries to record financial activity in the accounting system
• Reconciling third party reports with internal data
• Assisting with month-end closing and preparation of financial statements
• Assisting with annual financial audit
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements for Staff Accountant:

• 4-year degree in Accounting required.
• CPA Designation preferred.
• 1+ year(s) experience in public accounting preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
• High sense of urgency (when required) and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively multi-task.
