We are in search of a diligent Paralegal to join our team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves supporting attorneys in the field of Workers Comp Law. This is a contract employment opportunity that serves to enhance the efficiency of our legal operations by assisting with trial preparations, drafting, and e-filing tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys, focusing on Workers Comp Law.
• Prepare for trials by organizing, scheduling, and coordinating different aspects.
• Draft various legal documents and correspondence as necessary.
• Manage and keep up-to-date calendars for attorneys.
• Handle e-filing tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Use ICMS and Needles software for various tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
• Assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned within the legal department.
• Ensure all tasks are done in accordance with relevant legal standards and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining an efficient workflow by managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Contribute to a positive work environment with a professional and proactive attitude.

• Paralegal certification is required
• Proficiency in discovery process and procedures is mandatory

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using legal research platforms and office software
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality of information is crucial
• Previous experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred.
