VC backed SaaS start up based in central NJ seeks CFO to join growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in multiple VC backed start up SaaS companies and will be responsible for leading all of the financial and legal aspects of the company, working directly with the executive team to drive growth and position the company as a leading player in the software industry. The work arrangement is remote. Candidates that live in NJ would be preferred, in the tri-state area or on the East Coast will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience working for VC-backed start-ups is required
• Experience working in a global business setting and consolidating financials from at least two entities is required
• Experience working in a B2B SaaS business is strongly preferred
• 15+ years of progressively responsible finance and operational experience
• Experience working with the Board of Directors of a VC-backed company, commercial banks, Big 5 auditors, and institutional VC/PE investors
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA degree and/or CPA designation highly desirable
