We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team based in Savannah, Georgia. Your role is primarily focused on providing high-quality customer service in a healthcare setting, utilizing your skills in various software and technologies. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process patient applications using CRM and Dentrix Dental Software
• Maintain and update patient records to ensure accuracy in all details
• Handle inbound calls from patients, answering their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Utilize Allscripts and Cerner Technologies to manage patient information and coordinate care
• Perform benefit functions to assist patients in understanding their healthcare benefits and options
• Execute billing functions, ensuring that all patient billing information is up-to-date and accurate
• Generate charts and graphs using patient data for reporting and analysis purposes
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Oversee the authorization process for patient treatments, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained
• Monitor patient accounts, taking appropriate action as needed to resolve issues and maintain patient satisfaction.• Must have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role as a Patient Care Coordinator
• Proficient in using medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and Dentrix Dental Software
• Familiarity with CRM software for managing patient information and scheduling appointments
• Experience in handling Banner Ads for advertising healthcare services
• Demonstrated ability to answer inbound calls in a professional and empathetic manner
• Experience in managing authorizations for patient care and procedures
• Familiar with Benefit and Billing functions in a healthcare setting
• Ability to understand and manage charts and graphs for patient data visualization
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
• Must respect patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy laws and regulations.
