Job Description
Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team for a hybrid role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Manage and process invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business required.
  • 3-4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, (Advance Excel).
Experience:
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Identify areas where processes can be improved and suggest changes. 
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and other departments.
