Seeking Experienced Accountant for Winchester, Kentucky Office

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. There is an immediate need for an accountant in our office for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Client Accounting: Work with a base of accounting clients, which may include daily, weekly, or monthly accounting tasks for the client.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Preparing month-end financial statements; preparation, or compilation financial statements.
• Tax Preparation: Assisting with tax planning and tax preparation – individuals, partnerships, corporations, tax-exempt, trust, etc.
• Assist With Firm Compliance (all team members participate): Client engagements, firm internal controls, firm risk, software security, and confidentiality.
• In-Office Work: Join our team in the Winchester office.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.
• 3 Years of Relevant Experience: Work experience in client accounting, financial statement and tax preparation. Financial statement audit experience is a bonus.
• Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Software Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe, Ultra Tax and Other CS Professional Products.
• Strong Communication: Ability to work with clients and team effectively.

Benefits:

• Salary is dependent on experience (range between $45,000 to $65,000).
