Nassau County Accounting Firm is full service accounting, tax and consulting firm established in January of 2018. With three managing partners, the firm services all aspects of business taxes.

Nassau County Accounting Firm provides monthly and quarterly writeup, financial reporting and consulting on business decisions. We prepare non-for-profit federal and state returns as well as trusts and estates. Nassau County Accounting Firm also prepares personal federal and state tax returns not only in New York, but in other states throughout the country.

We are seeking a Staff Accountant who is capable of working in a fast-paced business environment. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing basic accounting functions such as maintaining accounting systems and databases, analyzing transactions, and monitoring department budgeting. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to become a part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide data entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts and documents.
• Write up of cash receipts and disbursements.
• QuickBooks data entries.
• Preparation of Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Trust, Estate tax returns.
• QuickBooks and Proseries Tax Software.
• Preparation of Payroll & Sales tax reporting.
• Preparation of Personal and Business Financial Statements.
• Experience is preferred but willing to train the right person.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
