The ideal candidate has managed a shared services division and has overall strengths in accounts payable, management, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, Sales & Use Tax, and process improvement. Compensation: $75,000-$95,000

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a shared services accounts payable team.
• Process, maintain, and reconcile monthly vendor accounts and balances.
• Establish internal controls, best practices, and guidelines for vendor payment transactions and database management.
• Evaluate and create documented accounting processes and training programs to increase efficiency and streamline processes.
• Provide department with training, guidance, and support while driving continuous improvement to optimize processes and utilization of resources.
• Participate in hiring process and address performance issues with current staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, serving as a trusted business partner and enhancing cross-functional collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with external vendors, providing solutions to complex issues and ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Assist upper management with implementation of new Workday system and other miscellaneous project work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience needed
• 3+ years current accounts payable and shared services experience preferred
• 2+ years of Supervisory and/or Team Lead experience necessary
• Proficiency in Workday Financials or similar ERP systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce or Oracle Fusion experience desired.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must
