We are extending an opportunity for a Sr. Manufacturing Accountant northeast of Nashville, Tennessee. This client is easily accessible from Hendersonville, Gallatin, Lebanon, Mt Juliet, Goodlettsville and more. This role will have some cost accounting, general accounting and more. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic workplace, with an excellent atmosphere and excellent tenure, growth potential, with very little turnover. Responsibilities:
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate accounting records
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations regularly to maintain financial integrity
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the company's cash position
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately
• Prepare journal entries for various business operations
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks
• Carry out month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial activities are accounted for within the period
• Conduct annual standard cost evaluations to aid in budgeting and forecasting decisions.
