We are in search of a Payroll Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Dallas, Texas. The role entails overseeing various aspects of payroll activities, such as personnel records management, HRIS systems administration, and benefits enrollment. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining payroll records, generating reports, and conducting analysis in line with our established reporting systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of bi-weekly payroll for 160 employees to ensure timely and accurate paycheck processing.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for precise reporting of all payroll dollars to the general ledger.
• Accurate tracking and maintenance of vacation, sick, and personal leave accruals for salaried and hourly employees.
• Conduct analysis of general ledger payroll accounts to verify the accuracy of entries.
• Prepare payments for Workers Compensation to different states in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Ensure accurate recording of wages to meet all government regulations and requirements.
• Assist with the management of FMLA and Short-Term Disability activities, inclusive of contact with medical providers and record keeping.
• Assist with the worker’s compensation claims process, including initial claims reporting, and maintenance of worker’s compensation records.
• Oversee the processing of hourly status changes and maintenance of personnel records.
• Participate in Human Resources Department projects as assigned.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role in the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll and ability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll
• Experience in handling Workers Compensation and Leave Administration
• Familiarity with maintaining Personnel Records and HRIS Payroll System
• Proficiency in Paycom or similar payroll software
• Experience in handling Benefits Payroll
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
