We are offering an opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the construction industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves working closely with various teams to maintain accurate and timely books and financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate entry and coding of all approved invoices into accounting software systems.
• Maintain and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) including credit card transactions.
• Oversee the creation of invoices for all jobs and manage collections for all outstanding invoices.
• Handle payroll processing in collaboration with third-party payroll service providers.
• Assist with human resources compliance in conjunction with third-party HR service providers.
• Conduct financial reporting and analysis, including monthly financial statements.
• Manage cash flow including monthly bank reconciliations.
• Handle taxes including Sales & Use Tax filings, NV Modified Business Tax filings, and NV Commerce Tax.
• Perform other financial duties as required including job costing, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeper role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required, specifically QUICKBOOKS ONLINE (QBO).
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrable understanding of accounting functions.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Ability to prepare and manage an annual budget.
• Experience in cash flow analysis is required.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
