We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Apple Valley, Minnesota. This role is integral to our operations and will involve managing all aspects of accounting, from overseeing accounting operations to producing periodic financial reports. The successful candidate will also maintain a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of our financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and manage payroll activities for all employees.
• Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits to monitor and confirm financial condition; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
• Prepare budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
• Generate and publish timely financial statements.
• Forecast cash flow positions and manage capital funding.
• Maintain quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that will improve overall operation and effectiveness.• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with Computerized Accounting System is necessary
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential
• Must be adept at performing Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Ability to prepare and manage Annual Budget is required
• Must have experience in Cash Flow Analysis
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online is required
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Professional certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) is a plus
