Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Administrator – Retirement to join our Shared Service Center. This role is crucial in managing our benefit plans and programs, including group health & welfare plans, 401(k), non-qualified retirement plans, and equity plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefit plan management, particularly in retirement plan compliance.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, swiftly resolving work order requests to ensure high satisfaction.
Address and resolve employee benefit issues effectively.
Administer benefit plans and programs in adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including ERISA, DOL, IRS, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
Manage 401(k) plan and non-qualified retirement plan operations, including eligibility, contributions, loans, and distributions. Collaborate with record-keepers for contribution reconciliation and prepare necessary documentation for wire transfers.
Support data collection and interact with auditors for annual 5500 preparation, audits, disclosure reporting, and non-discrimination testing.
Conduct periodic audits of HRIS benefit records to ensure accuracy of premium deductions, plan eligibility, and data interfaces.
Record all employee and HR interactions in the Ticketing tool for KPI reporting. Assist in communicating benefit programs, including annual enrollment and plan updates.

Experience with ad hoc reporting, Microsoft Office, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Education:
Minimum: BA/BS in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of recent experience in benefit plan management with a focus on retirement plan compliance.
Travel:
Limited travel may be required.
