We are searching for a Benefits Administrator to join our team in Long Island City, New York. This role is integral to our operations and involves handling and coordinating various administrative tasks. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for ensuring efficient scheduling, preparing meeting agendas, managing correspondence, and maintaining records among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating and managing scheduling for various internal and external meetings.
• Preparing agendas for meetings and ensuring the Executive Director is briefed.
• Handling note-taking duties during meetings to ensure key points are recorded.
• Providing support for various events, both internal and external.
• Managing correspondence effectively and professionally.
• Overseeing calendar management and ensuring schedules are up-to-date and organized.
• Administering expense reports to ensure accurate record keeping.
• Booking spaces for staff meetings as necessary.
• Utilizing various software and systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, CRM, Dayforce, and others to perform tasks effectively.
• Administering benefits functions including 401k - RRSP Administration, Auditing, Claim Administration, Cobra Administration, and others.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with Ceridian, CRM, and Dayforce systems
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Solid understanding of auditing procedures
• Ability to carry out benefit functions effectively
• Experience in claim administration
• Knowledge in Cobra Administration
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
