This role centers around managing and enhancing our HR functions, with a focus on employee relations and compliance. The position is vital to maintaining a safe and harmonious work environment within our industry. This is an exciting direct hire position and an opportunity to work with a stable growing company! The hours are in office Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Someone with a strong HR background and strong tenure is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Oversee and monitor employee safety within the workplace.

• Proven experience in Human Resources or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in Compliance and Employee Relations
• Strong decision-making skills
• Excellent leadership and people skills
• Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in HRMS and MS Office
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• HR Certifications (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute) would be a plus
