We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This role involves overseeing HR processes, managing employee relations, and working with union representatives. The HR Manager will play a vital role in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring efficient operations in our organization. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all HR-related processes within the organization
• Develop and maintain employee relations, resolving any issues that may arise
• Coordinate with union representatives and handle union-related matters
• Implement effective hiring processes to ensure the recruitment of suitable candidates
• Manage benefit functions to ensure employees receive their entitled benefits
• Maintain open lines of communication across all levels of the organization
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Nurture a positive working environment, ensuring employee welfare and workplace harmony
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
