Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant with a Raleigh based company. The role involves handling accounting functions for two consumer products entities, engaging in contract review, managing fixed assets, preparing tax and import reports, and supporting business needs and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily accounting operations for two consumer products entities, including but not limited to cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Contribute to month-end closings and financial reporting.

• Engage in the review of various contracts such as customer, lease, and service agreements.

• Oversee the maintenance of fixed assets for all legal entities using Sage software.

• Prepare and file various tax reports for certain consumer products entities.

• Provide support to a start-up entity as operations begin, which includes customer service and inventory management.

• Assist in improving business processes and identifying areas for improvement.

• Travel to subsidiary locations when necessary.

• Undertake other duties or projects as assigned.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Experience with General Ledger maintenance and management is required.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is mandatory.

• Knowledge and experience using SAP software is desired.

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
