We are on the lookout for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to be a part of our team. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in handling customer service tasks, benefits administration, and HR-related duties in our CINCINNATI, Ohio location. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage customer service operations, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including health coverage and retirement plans
• Utilize HRIS Payroll System for efficient payroll processing and record-keeping
• Handle Family and Medical Leave Act (FLMA) related tasks, ensuring all details are correctly documented
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, implementing necessary actions when required
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to all HR policies and procedures
• Assist in other HR-related tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a Human Resources role or a similar field.
• Proficiency in HRIS Payroll Systems.
• Demonstrated skills in Benefits Administration.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of FLMA.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
