We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role involves managing accounting functions, utilizing various accounting software systems and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data
• Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger
• Utilize Excel formulas for accounting tasks
• Manage financial records using Computerized Accounting Systems
• Oversee annual budget preparation and execution
• Execute daily bank deposits and manage billing procedures
• Operate QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounting functions.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Accounting System
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Excel Formulas
• Solid understanding and experience with Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to prepare and analyze Annual Budget
• Knowledge of Journal Entries and General Ledger management
• Experience with QuickBooks software
• Familiarity with Billing procedures and processes
• Experience handling Daily Bank Deposits
