We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in FARMINGDALE, New York. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in managing employee relations for our large team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Spanish. Must be bilingual Spanish.
Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations for a large team and ensure a harmonious work environment
• Act as a point of contact for employees and provide solutions to any issues that arise
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the organization's goals
• Provide HR support in the areas of employee recruitment, hiring, retention, and evaluation
• Collaborate with the HR team to manage HR projects, such as employee surveys and training
• Conduct regular meetings with respective business units to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
• Perform benefits administration and communicate benefits information to employees
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations when necessary
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Must hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in the Spanish language.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, training & development, etc.).
• Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Sound understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Proven experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
