Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

We are looking for a (Lead) to care for our veteran residents and facilitate their speedy recovery. You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions.
- Educate team on new system change in Quick Mar/Care Suite HER
- Consult Monthly with Nurse Consultant and Pharmacy Consultant regarding compliance signed orders (Quarterly). Also monthly charted summary checkups
- Provide quarterly physician orders (signed) for all resident
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians, LCSW/LPC, CEO, Dietary Team and other providers
- Collaborate with physicians, Social Worker, CEO, Dietary Team and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients, Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team
- Develop a better system for medication refills/ordering. Compliance Check on medication refills weekly
- Promote: educational training with outside vendors for staff and/or residents’
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders along with CEO Authorization
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies
- Supervise and train all Med Techs, nursing students and nursing assistants
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
- Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
- Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
- Monitor other Med Tech charting
- Preparing patients for exams and treatment
- Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
