We are looking for a Project Manager - Operations to support operational and construction-related initiatives for a hi-tech engineering environment in Jacksonville, Florida. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a highly organized individual who communicates clearly, works independently, and brings strong spreadsheet skills to day-to-day project coordination. The role will help drive purchasing, logistics, warehouse activity, and operational planning while identifying practical ways to improve efficiency through modern tools, including AI.
Responsibilities:
• Lead operational and construction-focused projects from planning through execution, keeping timelines, priorities, and deliverables on track.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, including creating and managing purchase-related documentation to support project and operational needs.
• Partner with logistics and warehouse teams to align material movement, inventory handling, and site readiness with project schedules.
• Build and maintain detailed Excel-based trackers, reports, and status updates to support decision-making and visibility across operations.
• Communicate progress, risks, and key updates to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
• Work independently to organize tasks, resolve day-to-day issues, and keep multiple workstreams moving efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and apply AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve productivity and reporting.• 1-5 years of experience in project coordination, operations, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for tracking, reporting, and operational analysis.
• Experience supporting purchasing, logistics, warehouse operations, or related business functions.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision.
• Interest in or aptitude for using AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and problem-solving.
