Available roles:

• Resource program at a junior high, 7:50am-3:15pm, begins August 20
• RISE program at a high school, 7:05am-2:35pm, August 20 through November 11
• STARS program at a junior high, 7:50am-3:15pm, begins August 20All positions include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and follow the Monday through Friday school schedule.

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience supporting diverse needs in elementary, junior high, or high school populations
• Ability to implement IEPs and collaborate with related service providers
• Knowledge of best practices in differentiated instruction, behavioral interventions, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and adaptability in a school setting

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver engaging, effective instruction tailored to individual education plans
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere to promote student achievement and growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, families, and school administration
• Collect data and complete required documentation to monitor progress and inform instructional decisions
• Maintain a structured, positive environment to encourage participation and independence
