At the elementary level, you’ll work in a Structured Teaching and Learning Room (STLR) within a self-contained setting designed for students with Autism and functional communication needs. You’ll collaborate closely with support staff and families to foster individualized success, managing a caseload of up to 13 students.

In the middle school setting, join as a co-teacher for Supported Education. You’ll partner with general education staff to deliver differentiated instruction, share progress updates, and promote a culture of inclusion. This class size is capped at 13, allowing for focused, direct impact.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-8 or relevant grade band
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and functional communication support preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with paraprofessionals, related service staff, and families
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Positive, flexible approach to classroom and behavioral management

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Utilize structured teaching strategies and assistive technology where appropriate

• Collect data and monitor student progress
