At Hermansen Elementary, you’ll guide a self-contained classroom within a Structured Teaching and Learning Room (STLR) program, dedicated to students with Autism and Functional Communication needs. The caseload is capped at 10-13 students, allowing for meaningful, individualized instruction within a supportive atmosphere.
Alternatively, at Martinez Middle School, you’ll serve as a co-teacher in a Supported Education setting, working closely with fellow educators to foster inclusion and academic success for students with diverse learning needs. The caseload for this role is also capped at 13 students, ensuring manageable, high-quality engagement.
