• Resource at a junior high, schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:50 AM–3:15 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch), starting 8/20
• RISE program at a high school, schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:05 AM–2:35 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch), 8/20–11/11
• STARS at a junior high, schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:50 AM–3:15 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch), starting 8/20

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the state of Illinois
• Demonstrated experience in special education settings preferred
• Strong skills in adapting curriculum and instructional methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to create and maintain inclusive, supportive environments for students with a range of learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning profiles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialized staff
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress
• Engage in regular communication with parents/guardians
• Implement classroom strategies aligned with students’ unique strengths and areas for growth
• Foster a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere, supporting both academic and social-emotional development
