Attorney opportunity in the San Fernando Valley to join a top plaintiff litigation team!

Responsibilities:
• Oversee a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters, primarily motor vehicle collision claims, along with selected premises liability cases, from early litigation through expert designation.
• Prepare and file key litigation documents, including pleadings, written discovery, motions, and supporting briefs, with attention to strategy and deadlines.
• Conduct and defend depositions as part of case development, while partnering with trial counsel on higher-level litigation strategy and pretrial readiness.
• Support trial attorneys during case preparation by organizing evidence, refining legal arguments, and serving as second chair when matters proceed toward trial.
• Coordinate effectively with pre-litigation team members on files that remain in transition, ensuring continuity as clients complete treatment and cases advance.
• Approach every assigned matter with a trial-ready mindset, developing records and litigation strategy designed to strengthen outcomes.
• Use firm technology platforms for case tracking, document organization, and workflow management, including maintaining accurate litigation records.
• Participate in structured onboarding and ongoing collaboration with litigation leadership to build independence while benefiting from regular guidance and feedback.
• Active attorney license required.
• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation, although newly barred attorneys with excellent academic backgrounds will be considered.
• Background handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses in a litigation setting.
• Experience taking or defending depositions and managing day-to-day litigation tasks.
• Working knowledge of litigation processes from case filing through pretrial preparation.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a substantial active caseload effectively.
• Comfortable working onsite in Burbank, California within standard business hours.
