Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist- (**Permanent, Full Time**)

Location: West Hartford, CT

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the West Hartford, CT area, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys managing a variety of accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (aging, cash apps and billing)
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions
• Assist with external audit preparation and support
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or related accounting role
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment a huge plus!
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations is a must, but any experience with inventory is a plus!
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• ERP system experience is a plus
