Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching Certification in Special Education (required; must be provided with resume)
• Prior experience working with Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) students, preferably in a center-based setting
• Strong instructional skills in adapting curricula to meet individualized needs
• Exceptional communication abilities with parents, staff, and support teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning community
• Knowledge or interest in elementary mathematics, science, and engineering concepts is advantageous

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve full-time onsite in a dedicated EBD classroom, focusing on tailored instruction and behavioral support
• Design, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with students’ unique requirements
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a holistic educational experience
• Utilize program-specific resources that integrate engineering, science, and technology into daily teaching
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavioral interventions
• Engage students in creative, hands-on activities while reinforcing positive classroom management
