Job Title: Shipping and Receiving ClerkJob DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk accurately receives, verifies, labels, and routes incoming products while preparing outbound shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role combines hands-on material handling with precise data entry, inventory control, and the use of warehouse equipment to ensure products move efficiently and accurately through the facility.
Responsibilities- Receive incoming products by matching them against purchase orders and verifying quantities, part numbers, and descriptions.
- Count and label all received items accurately and designate them to the appropriate site or area within the facility.
- Scan each received item into the correct container, such as a pallet or bin, to prepare it for shipment in a timely manner.
- Use pallet jacks and forklifts to safely move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Enter inventory data, part numbers, and other relevant information into the computer system with high accuracy.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including picking, packing, and packaging orders for outbound shipments.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory control.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing products in designated storage areas.
- Support general labor tasks within the warehouse as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of equipment and adherence to facility guidelines.
Essential Skills- At least 2 years of shipping and/or receiving experience.
- At least 2 years of receiving experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Intermediate computer skills with strong data entry capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent counting ability.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including picking, packing, and packaging.
- Ability to use pallet jacks to move products safely and efficiently.
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be trained on forklift equipment.
- Experience with inventory control, including inventory tracking and cycle counts.
- Ability to use RF scanners for scanning products and managing inventory.
- Capability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with e-fulfillment or warehouse implementation environments is beneficial.
- Comfort working with technology-driven inventory and warehouse systems.
- Willingness to participate in forklift training provided by the employer.
- Ability to follow structured training that includes both classroom-style presentations and hands-on practice.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with warehouse teams.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in an e-fulfillment warehouse focused on delivering end-to-end implementation services, from design consultation and technical integration to buildout and retrofits, to maximize facility efficiency. You will work with equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners, and you will regularly handle inventory and materials in a busy warehouse setting. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available as needed and communicated in advance to support work-life planning. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes and jeans to ensure safety and comfort in the facility. The environment emphasizes safety, structured processes, and collaboration across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
