Job Description

·         Provide strategic and hands-on HR leadership for a 2-shift union die casting operation with approximately 100 employees

·         Maintain a strong floor presence and serve as a visible, accessible HR partner to operations

·         Conduct thorough employee investigations and resolve workplace issues effectively

·         Oversee payroll operations and manage direct reports within the HR function

·         Administer FMLA leave processes and ensure regulatory compliance

·         Manage benefits administration including 401K, short-term and long-term disability programs

·         Drive employee relations initiatives and foster a positive work environment

Key Requirements 

·                     Background in metals or manufacturing industry strongly preferred

·                     Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

·                     Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred

·                     SHRM certification preferred; will consider a Senior HR Generalist level candidate

·                     Proven hands-on, floor-driven approach to HR leadership
