Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification required
• Previous experience or training as a School Psychologist in K–12 settings is highly desirable
• Ability to complete drug screening and fingerprinting as part of district credentialing
• Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and fostering inclusive learning spaces

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of students to assess academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services
• Support the implementation of preventive programs to enhance students’ social-emotional growth
• Document services, maintain compliance with district/state guidelines, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
