Preferred Background and Experience:

• Valid and active Louisiana Department of Education Certification required
• School Psychology experience (K-12 preferred)
• Completion of district-mandated drug screening and fingerprinting (in addition to internal credentialing)

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary education teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions for a diverse caseload (final details TBD)
• Support the emotional, social, and academic needs of students
• Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to develop effective educational and behavioral plans
• Maintain all required documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Travel between school assignments as needed (number of schools TBD)
• Full-time schedule—35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar
