Make a difference working as an onsite resource Special Education teacher supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment. This contract position offers you the opportunity to provide critical guidance to young learners and work collaboratively with committed educators. The assignment runs from late August through early June, with weekdays dedicated to supporting a manageable caseload at an elementary school.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Prior experience in special education or resource teacher roles preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset, working well with paraprofessionals, families, and fellow teachers
• Ability to cultivate an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, monitor, and assess IEPs aligned with district goals and state standards
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers and special education staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and communication
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture
• Engage in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and staff development as needed
