Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.

• Ability to adapt curriculum, implement effective behavioral supports, and manage diverse classrooms.
• Proficiency using digital IEP systems; training and support provided as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and fellow educators.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for assigned students.
• Provide tailored instruction and modifications in alignment with student needs and district guidelines.
• Administer ongoing assessments and maintain accurate student records.
• Collaborate regularly with support staff, families, and administration to foster student growth.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and required training sessions.
• Ensure all activities adhere to state/federal guidelines and best practices in special education.
• Support students’ emotional and social development within an inclusive community.
