As the Safety & Compliance Coordinator, You'll Be Responsible For:
- Conducting field inspections, safety observations, and hazard assessments.
- Supporting FMCSA, DOT, OSHA/HIOSH, and company compliance programs.
- Maintaining training, driver qualification, inspection, and regulatory records.
- Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and tracking corrective actions.
- Coordinating safety training, new hire orientations, and toolbox talks.
- Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring audit readiness.
- Partnering with operations and leadership teams to promote a culture of safety.
- Providing hands-on coaching and reinforcing safe work practices in the field.
Our Ideal Safety & Compliance Coordinator Candidate:
- Experience in safety, compliance, construction, transportation, industrial operations, or a related field.
- Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA/HIOSH, or other regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and investigation skills.
- Experience conducting inspections, training employees, or supporting compliance initiatives preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn safety management systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
