Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (see schedule below)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Wood Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for building custom wood crates and packaging solutions using blueprints, measuring tools, and construction-grade power tools. Success in this role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Monday: 6:10 AM – 5:50 PM
- Tuesday: 6:10 AM – 5:50 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Thursday – Saturday: Off
Shift B
- Sunday: 6:00 PM – 5:50 AM
- Monday: 6:00 PM – 5:50 AM
- Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 5:50 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Thursday – Saturday: Off
Shift C
- Sunday – Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 6:10 AM – 5:50 PM
- Friday: 6:10 AM – 5:50 PM
- Saturday: 6:10 AM – 5:50 PM
Shift D
- Sunday – Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
- Thursday: 6:10 PM – 5:50 AM
- Friday: 6:10 PM – 5:50 AM
- Saturday: 6:10 PM – 5:50 AM
Shift assignment will be determined based on business needs and availability.
Responsibilities
Wood Crate Assembly
- Build custom wood crates and skids according to blueprints and production specifications
- Safely operate construction-grade power tools including nail guns, staple guns, drills, grinders, hammers, and tape measures
- Use ladders when assembling crate tops and completing builds
- Apply adhesives and install protective materials when required
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines
Quality & Production
- Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure with accuracy up to 1/8 inch
- Read and interpret cut sheets, drawings, and production instructions
- Identify and report discrepancies in specifications or materials
- Use production software to track and update job progress
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and equipment guidelines
- Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing wood scraps and debris
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily production goals
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ months of experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, landscaping, assembly, or operating power tools preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and job logging
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequently lift and move materials up to 40 lbs independently and heavier loads with assistance
- Push and pull materials up to 75 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb ladders as needed
- Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate to high noise levels
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting
- Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving equipment
- Indoor environment with varying temperatures
- Overtime and extended hours may be available based on production needs
