Job Description
The Mechanic will independently perform vehicle inspections, engine repairs, brake maintenance, preventive maintenance, and parts replacement. Reporting to the Shop Manager, this role uses a combination of manual and technological tools to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. The position offers opportunities for advancement within the automotive repair field and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues
- Repair engines and related components
- Maintain and service brake systems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Replace defective or worn parts
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in automotive repair
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics
- Knowledge of engine repair and brake systems
- Strong attention to detail
