CDL B: $21/HOUR
CDL A: $24/HOUR
The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations. This role requires adherence to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to ensure timely and secure delivery.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and delivery details.
- Adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
