Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and prepare menu items on the grill according to recipe standards and portion sizes
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper doneness and food safety compliance
- Set up and stock the grill station before service; maintain a clean, organized workspace throughout shifts
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are timed correctly and plated to standard
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Break down and clean grill equipment at the end of each shift
- Monitor inventory levels at the station and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
Requirements:
- Prior grill or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices (food handler certification a plus)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
