A growing CPA firm in the Central Houston area is currently hiring an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join their team! In this role, the Senior General Ledger Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients, oversee financial reporting, and ensure accuracy and compliance across all general ledger activities.

Salary: $28/hr.-$40/hr. DOE

The perfect Senior General Ledger Accountant for our client will have:

• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting or a CPA firm environment
• Strong experience with full-cycle general ledger accounting and complex journal entries
• Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements with accuracy
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - (CPA certification or actively pursuing strongly preferred)
