We are seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to become part of our new primary care concierge medical practice in Wayne, PA! Become a trusted member of our team dedicated to excellence in patient care. Build meaningful relationships with a smaller patient panel than traditional practices.  Work closely with our physician in a true collaborative partnership.  Physician fosters a positive work environment and is dedicated to treating staff respectfully, kindly, and courteously.

Candidate's responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments for patient
• Answer phone calls and patient messages that come through our HIPAA compliant messaging app
• Help obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications from patients' insurance companies
• Help to schedule STAT imaging studies or urgent appointments for patients with specialists
• Request and obtain medical records from prior physicians and/or specialist doctors
• Faxing records and labs to specialist physicians as needed

Candidate's ​Qualifications:

• Candidate should be dependable, punctual, courteous to other staff and patients.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
• 2+ years experience in healthcare (primary care practice ideal but could be specialist practice as well)
