About AER Manufacturing
AER Manufacturing is a specialized transmission remanufacturer serving the automotive aftermarket and fleet industries. We specialize in General Motors transmissions—including the GM 10L80, 10L90, 6L80, and 6L90—taking cores from the field, performing complete teardown and inspection, remanufacturing components to OEM specifications, and assembling and validating finished transmissions. Our operations require precision, attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a commitment to quality at every step.

You will coordinate work assignments, manage inventory of transmission cores and components, ensure adherence to work instructions and quality standards, train team members on procedures and safety protocols, and maintain accountability for production output and quality metrics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on transmission experience, understand GM transmission mechanics and assembly procedures, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work directly with your team on the production floor, perform quality checks, troubleshoot process issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
